Half Full
Synopsis:
Joshua is a joker. He messes with his friend’s online posting, teases Saffy, the girl he likes, and keeps a reality check on his anxiety. But when his mother gets a disturbing phone call about her job, things start to change. Now Josh’s anxiety (Anx) twists events and increasingly dominates Josh’s attention, making it difficult for Josh to hear what anybody outside of his head is saying.
This theatre for young audiences play for grades 6 – 9 is about finding solutions for teen anxiety.
Half Full was created with support from an Ontario Arts Council artist in residency at Mixed Company Theatre, and the RBC Children’s Mental Health Project.
